Issue #8 — Rewired
This week we have some pretty awesome stuff lined up for you this week including a Raspberry Pi powered twitter client using a Wiimote and and a few other projects and websites.
This issue has been put together by Ryan from where Ben has been involved with various activities surrounding the Young Rewired State Festival of Code at Manchester’s centres. YRS has been great – it’s brilliant to see so many young coders making awesome things – the presentations take place in Birmingham this weekend. Ryan’s been busy working on Rastrack Version 2 which launches next week.
We did see a Pi on BBC2 last night on Dara O’Brian’s Science Club, but no sign of Ben’s weather station. Maybe it’ll be in another episode – keep watching anyway as it’s such a cool show! Last night Dara reacted to the number of tweets mentioning the Pi and recommended everyone to get one! Watch last night’s episode on iPlayer.
Don’t forget, you can always email or tweet us your submissions.
Thanks
Ben & Ryan
